Detailed Product Overview

The e.l.f. Power Grip Rosé Setting Spray is a dual phase makeup setting spray. This means its formula contains two phases that need to be mixed by shaking before application. The result is a combination of makeup setting properties and illuminating ingredients designed to leave the complexion looking radiant.

One of its standout ingredients is 2% niacinamide, a form of vitamin B3 commonly used in skincare to help improve the appearance of uneven skin tone. In a setting spray, it adds skincare inspired benefits to your makeup routine, although it should not replace a dedicated skincare product for treating pigmentation.

Rose water helps refresh the formula, while 5% aloe and other moisture supporting ingredients contribute to its hydrating feel. Pink pearl adds the subtle luminosity that gives this spray its distinctive rosy glow.

The formula also contains ingredients that help makeup stay in place. However, actual wear time can vary depending on your foundation, skincare preparation, application technique and environmental conditions.

If you prefer a natural looking glow over a completely matte finish, this setting spray offers a different approach to finishing your makeup.

Texture, Finish and Makeup Experience

The spray is designed to deliver a fine mist that settles over the face without the heavy feel associated with some richer finishing products. Its finish is glistening and luminous, with a subtle shimmer rather than a flat, powdery appearance.

It pairs naturally with radiant foundation, liquid blush, cream bronzer and highlighter. On medium to deep Bangladesh skin tones, the illuminating effect can add dimension to the complexion without relying on a separate highlighter, although the visible effect will depend on lighting and how much product you apply.

For Bangladesh’s hot and humid weather, the makeup setting function can be useful when you want your look to last through commuting, events or long days outside. However, this is not a dedicated oil control or sweat proof product. Very oily skin may still develop shine, particularly around the forehead, nose and chin.

Who Is It For?

This setting spray may suit:

• Normal, dry and combination skin types that enjoy a radiant makeup finish

• Oily skin users who prefer luminous makeup and do not mind some shine

• Anyone who enjoys soft glam, wedding guest makeup or everyday dewy looks

• Makeup lovers who want a setting spray with illuminating ingredients

If you prefer a completely matte, shine controlled finish, a mattifying setting spray may be a better choice. Those with very oily skin can use a small amount and powder the T zone separately.

Although the formula is fragrance free, it contains multiple ingredients, so those with sensitive or reactive skin should still check the ingredient list before use.

Why Choose Power Grip Rosé Setting Spray?

Its main distinction is the combination of makeup setting performance and subtle pearl illumination. Rather than simply adding moisture or giving a wet looking finish, it is designed to help makeup last while leaving the skin with a rosy, light catching glow.

If you are comparing it with the e.l.f. Power Grip Dewy Setting Spray, the Rosé version focuses on pink pearl luminosity and includes 2% niacinamide. The Dewy version focuses on a hydrated, dewy finish and features aloe, hyaluronic acid and squalane. Your choice depends on whether you prefer a subtle shimmer or a more hydrated looking glow.

You can also explore Iconic makeup products if you enjoy products designed to complement a radiant makeup look.

How To Use

Shake the bottle thoroughly to combine both phases.
Hold it approximately 6 inches away from your face.
Close your eyes and lips, then mist evenly over the skin.
Allow the spray to settle and dry naturally without rubbing your face.
Use it after makeup to set your finished look, or before makeup as a prep step.

Beauty tip: For humid weather, apply your usual foundation and concealer, lightly powder areas that become oily, then finish with a moderate mist. This helps you maintain a balanced glow without making the entire face look overly shiny.

Frequently Helpful Buying Context

Does it work for oily skin?

It can be used on oily skin, but it does not specifically control excess oil. Pair it with a suitable foundation and targeted powder application if you prefer a more balanced finish.

Does it contain visible glitter?

The formula contains illuminating pearl ingredients that create a subtle shimmer. The effect is intended to look luminous rather than like chunky craft glitter, though the appearance can vary with application and lighting.

Can I use it without makeup?

Yes, you can mist it onto bare skin for a subtle luminous effect. However, it is primarily designed as a makeup setting spray, not as a standalone skincare treatment.
