Detailed Product Overview

NYX Fat Matte Smooth Color Lipstick is a modern matte lip colour from NYX Professional Makeup. Unlike a glossy lipstick, it creates a soft matte appearance without the reflective shine associated with lip gloss. Its creamy pigment and whipped texture are designed to make application feel smoother and more comfortable than a traditional dry matte formula.

The formula features raspberry oil and tapioca powder. These ingredients contribute to the product's intended soft, comfortable feel and matte finish. However, the lipstick is not a replacement for a dedicated lip balm, especially if your lips are already very dry or flaky.

The click pen packaging makes it convenient to carry in your handbag for touch ups. As with other matte lipsticks, the final colour can look different depending on your natural lip pigmentation, the amount applied and your chosen lip liner.

Explore the Three Shades

Rose Robe: A rose nude shade that works well with understated makeup. Consider it for everyday wear, office makeup, soft glam and nude pink lip combinations.

Mauve Cloud: A deep rose shade that offers a more defined look than a traditional nude. It can complement mauve eye makeup, neutral eyeshadow and polished evening looks.

Scarlet Snuggles: A ruby shade for anyone who prefers a more noticeable lip colour. It pairs well with minimal eye makeup, classic eyeliner and festive or evening makeup.

These shades offer different styling possibilities for a range of Bangladesh skin tones. Your undertone, natural lip colour and lighting can influence how each shade appears, so checking shade swatches on a similar skin tone can help before purchasing.

Texture, Finish and Everyday Wear

The formula is designed to feel creamy and cushiony while leaving a matte finish. This makes it worth considering if you enjoy the appearance of matte lipstick but dislike an overly flat or uncomfortable feel.

For Bangladesh's warm and humid weather, a matte lip colour can be a practical choice when you prefer less shine. However, a matte finish does not automatically mean transfer proof or waterproof. Wear time and transfer can vary with meals, drinks and individual lip conditions.

If your lips have visible flakes, gently exfoliate only if your lips tolerate it, then apply a thin layer of lip balm and allow it to absorb before applying lipstick. This can help create a more even base.

Who Is It For?

This lipstick may suit you if you:

Prefer matte lipstick over glossy lip colour.

Want creamy colour with a soft finish.

Enjoy rosy nude, deep rose or ruby red shades.

Need a versatile lip product for daily makeup or special occasions.

If you have very dry, cracked lips or prefer a sheer, glossy finish, you may prefer a more hydrating lip product instead. Explore the NYX Smushy Matte Lip Balm for a softer, more sheer lip look, or try the NYX Professional Makeup Jelly Job Lip Gloss if you prefer a glossy finish.

How to Use

Start with clean, dry lips.
Apply a small amount of lip balm beforehand if your lips need extra moisture, allowing it to absorb.
Use the click pen mechanism according to the packaging instructions to dispense the product.
Apply the lipstick from the centre of your lips outward, following your natural lip shape.
Add another thin layer if you want a more intense colour payoff.
Pair it with a complementary lip liner for a more defined lip look.

Expert tip: For a softer, blurred lip effect, apply a small amount and gently diffuse the edges. For a bolder look, build the colour gradually rather than applying a thick layer at once.
