Rare Beauty Positive Light Silky Touch Highlighter

If you love the glow of a liquid highlighter but prefer the convenience and control of a powder, Rare Beauty Positive Light Silky Touch Highlighter is designed to give you that in one compact. It has a finely milled, talc free powder formula with a semi sheer base and smooth pearls that create a reflective, glass like sheen without feeling heavy on the skin. The finish is dewy and luminous rather than looking like a traditional dry or chalky powder highlighter.

Available shades include Enlighten, Exhilarate, Flaunt and Mesmerize, giving you options from cool champagne to warmer gold and rose bronze tones.

Detailed Product Overview

The standout feature is the texture. Although this is a powder highlighter, Rare Beauty describes the formula as having the smooth feel and appearance of a liquid highlighter. Its finely milled pearls catch and reflect light while the semi sheer base helps the highlighter blend into the complexion instead of sitting visibly on top of it.

The formula contains Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Dimethicone, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Tapioca Starch, Boron Nitride and Silica, among other ingredients.

The four shades offered here have different undertones:

Enlighten: Cool champagne
Exhilarate: Champagne gold
Flaunt: True gold
Mesmerize: Rose bronze

For Bangladesh skin tones, shade selection is best based on both depth and undertone rather than choosing only by how light or dark your complexion is. Cool or neutral undertones may prefer the champagne shades, while warmer golden or olive leaning complexions may find the gold and rose bronze options more harmonious.

Texture, Finish and Real Life Experience

This highlighter is particularly useful if you want noticeable luminosity without a thick layer of glitter. The finish is smooth, reflective and dewy looking, while the powder format makes application easier to control than many liquid formulas.

In hot and humid Bangladesh weather, a powder highlighter can also be convenient because you can apply a small amount precisely to the high points of the face instead of adding another wet layer over your base makeup.

The brand states that the formula is transferproof, smudgeproof and water resistant. It also states that the product is designed not to accentuate skin texture or settle into fine lines.

Who Is It For?

This highlighter is a good option for anyone who enjoys a luminous complexion and wants a refined glow that can be built from subtle to more noticeable.

It can work particularly well for:

• Normal, combination and oily skin looking for a luminous finish
• Dry skin that prefers a dewy looking highlight
• Makeup lovers who dislike chunky glitter
• Everyday makeup as well as party or occasion makeup
• Anyone who prefers powder application but wants a more skin like finish

If you prefer a completely matte complexion or do not enjoy reflective makeup, this may feel too luminous for your preferred makeup style.

Why Customers Choose This Product

The main appeal is the combination of a powder format with a liquid highlighter inspired finish. You get the portability and easy application of a compact while the finely milled pearls create a smooth, reflective effect. The formula is also designed to layer without looking overly powdery when applied lightly.

How To Use

Pick up a small amount with a highlighter brush.
Gently sweep the brush across the powder.
Apply lightly to the tops of the cheekbones, brow bone, bridge of the nose or cupid’s bow.
Build gradually if you want a stronger glow.

For a more intense highlight, the brand suggests lightly misting the brush before picking up the powder. The product can also be applied to the eyelids for a glass like sheen.

Expert tip: In humid weather, start with a very small amount. It is easier to build a luminous finish than to tone down an overly reflective layer.
