Detailed Product Overview

Recode Perfect Grip Primer is a clear liquid makeup primer formulated with Isododecane, Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone and Trimethylsiloxysilicate. The combination gives the primer its lightweight slip while helping create a smoother surface for complexion makeup.

Unlike a traditional hydrating primer that mainly focuses on adding moisture or a mattifying primer that focuses primarily on controlling the appearance of shine, this formula is positioned around makeup grip and wear. It can be especially useful when your priority is helping foundation or concealer stay put.

If you already use a mattifying primer such as Recode Ace Of Base Mattifying Primer 30 ml, the two products have different purposes. Ace Of Base is focused more on creating a smooth matte canvas, while Perfect Grip is focused more on makeup hold and longevity.

Texture, Finish and Real Life Experience

The formula is clear, lightweight and designed to spread easily without a sticky primer feel. Its finish is matte, making it suitable for anyone who prefers a cleaner, less shiny makeup base.

Because the formula is lightweight, it can be practical for layering underneath foundation without creating an unnecessarily thick base. In humid weather, using a thin layer can also help keep the overall makeup application comfortable.

It is important to remember that a grip primer is primarily a makeup product. It can help with makeup wear, but it cannot replace skincare, hydration or proper skin preparation.

Who Is It For?

Recode Perfect Grip Primer can be a useful choice for:

• Makeup users who want longer lasting complexion makeup
• Oily, combination or normal skin users who prefer a matte finish
• Anyone looking for a lightweight primer under foundation or concealer
• Long events, parties, photography and everyday makeup
• Makeup enthusiasts who like experimenting with their foundation or concealer formula

The brand describes it as suitable for all skin types. However, if your skin is very dry or flaky, make sure your skincare is comfortable and well settled before applying primer. A matte primer may not be the best choice if your main preference is a noticeably dewy, luminous finish.

Why Customers Choose This Primer

The main appeal is versatility. You can use it as a traditional primer underneath makeup, or mix it with foundation or concealer when you want to help improve the longevity of your complexion products.

For an extra step after your base makeup, you can also pair it with Recode Perfect Grip Spray Makeup Fixer 100ml The primer and setting spray serve different roles, so they can be used as part of a longer wear makeup routine.

How To Use

Start with a clean, moisturized face and allow your skincare to settle.
Apply around 3 to 4 drops of Recode Perfect Grip Primer.
Spread it gently across the areas where you want better makeup hold.
Blend outward using gentle circular motions.
Allow the primer to settle before applying foundation or concealer.
Continue with your usual complexion makeup.

For a more comfortable base, start with a small amount rather than applying a thick layer. The goal is an even, thin coating rather than a heavy layer of primer.
