Detailed Product Overview

This shower gel is built around a black soap concept traditionally associated with body cleansing and exfoliation rituals. The current Sephora product information explains that its purifying properties help prepare the skin before exfoliation. When paired with an exfoliating shower glove, the product can be used as part of a cleansing and exfoliating routine.

The listed formula includes glycerin, argan oil, olive oil, cocamidopropyl betaine and fragrance, along with cleansing and formulation ingredients. Glycerin is commonly used in body cleansers to support a comfortable skin feel, while argan and olive oils add a more nourishing character to the formula.

Sephora describes the Argan fragrance as warm and rich, so this is not simply a fragrance free cleansing product. If you enjoy body washes with a noticeable warm scent during your shower routine, the fragrance is an important part of the experience.

Texture, Finish and Real Life Experience

The product is a shower gel designed to be applied to damp skin and massaged in circular motions before rinsing. Used on its own, it works as a body cleanser. Sephora also recommends using it with an exfoliating glove when you want to combine cleansing with exfoliation.

For Bangladesh’s hot and humid weather, it can work well as part of a regular body cleansing routine, particularly when you prefer a fresh, clean feeling after showering. However, if your skin becomes dry easily, using an exfoliating glove every day may feel too much. You can keep the shower gel as your regular cleanser and reserve the glove for occasional exfoliation.

Who Is It For?

This shower gel may suit you if you:

• Prefer a body wash with a warm argan fragrance
• Want a cleanser that can be incorporated into an exfoliation routine
• Like Moroccan hammam inspired body care
• Want smoother feeling body skin
• Prefer cleansing products with ingredients such as glycerin and plant oils

If you have very dry or easily irritated skin, the fragrance and physical exfoliation step may not be your preference. In that case, use the cleanser gently and avoid aggressive rubbing with a glove.

Why Customers Choose This Product

The main attraction is the combination of black soap cleansing, argan fragrance and exfoliation focused body care in one product. Rather than being just another everyday shower gel, it fits naturally into a more ritual based shower routine.

You can also pair it with an exfoliating glove for a more thorough body care session.

How To Use

Wet your body with water.
Apply a generous amount of the shower gel to damp skin.
Massage gently using circular motions.
Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
For exfoliation, use with a suitable exfoliating glove and massage gently.
After showering, apply a body lotion or body oil if your skin needs additional moisture.

Expert tip: If you are using an exfoliating glove, focus on gentle, controlled movements rather than scrubbing aggressively. The goal is smoother feeling skin, not friction.
