SHEGLAM Good Grip Ultra Blur Primer

Want your foundation to look smoother, your pores less noticeable, and your makeup to stay looking fresh for longer? SHEGLAM Good Grip Ultra Blur Primer is a makeup primer designed to help foundation adhere evenly while creating a soft focus, matte finish. Its blurring formula helps soften the appearance of visible pores and uneven skin texture, making it a useful choice for everyday makeup, office looks and full glam occasions.

If you prefer a polished complexion without an overly shiny finish, this primer is worth considering, especially when warm, humid weather makes excess facial shine a concern.

Benefits

Helps foundation adhere more evenly to the skin.

Creates a smooth, soft focus finish.

Visibly blurs the appearance of pores and uneven texture.

Helps keep excess shine under control.

Features niacinamide alongside hydrating ingredients.

Helps makeup wear longer with less visible caking.

Works as a base for natural makeup and more defined glam looks.

Formula and Product Overview

SHEGLAM Good Grip Ultra Blur Primer combines a gripping makeup base with a smoothing, pore blurring effect. Its silicone based formula features dimethicone and silicone crosspolymers, ingredients commonly used in makeup products to create a smoother surface and a soft, refined feel.

This makes the primer particularly interesting for anyone whose foundation tends to emphasize pores, small textural irregularities or areas that become shiny throughout the day.

The formula also contains niacinamide, which can help improve the appearance of pores over time, along with glycerin, sodium hyaluronate and panthenol. These ingredients support hydration and skin comfort, although the primer should primarily be viewed as a makeup product rather than a replacement for skincare.

The product is presented in a pink colour and is designed to create a matte, soft focus effect. It can help makeup look more even, but it will not physically shrink pores, remove acne scars or completely smooth pronounced skin texture.

Texture, Finish and Makeup Performance

The main appeal of this primer is its combination of makeup grip and visible blurring. Rather than focusing on a dewy glow, it is designed for a smoother, more controlled complexion.

The silicone based formula helps create a refined base for foundation. This can be particularly useful when applying complexion products over areas where pores are more visible, such as the nose, cheeks and forehead.

For Bangladesh's hot and humid climate, a soft matte primer may be helpful if your T zone becomes oily or your foundation starts looking shiny during the day. However, it does not guarantee sweatproof or waterproof makeup, and your overall wear time will also depend on your foundation, setting powder, application technique and skin preparation.

For a natural everyday look, use a thin layer before skin tint or foundation. For occasions and bridal style makeup, it can help prepare the skin for a more polished base.

Who Is It For?

Oily skin: A good option to consider if you want a smoother looking complexion and help managing visible shine.

Combination skin: Apply mainly to the oily areas, such as the forehead, nose and chin, while keeping drier areas comfortably moisturized.

Normal skin: Suitable for those who prefer a soft matte finish instead of a dewy complexion.

Visible pores and uneven texture: The blurring effect can make these concerns less noticeable beneath makeup.

Dry or dehydrated skin: Use caution if your skin has flaky patches or feels tight. A matte primer may emphasize dryness if the skin is not adequately moisturized.

Sensitive skin: The ingredient list includes fragrance and citrus peel oil, so people who react to fragranced cosmetics should review the ingredients carefully before use.

Why Choose This Primer?

The main reason to choose SHEGLAM Good Grip Ultra Blur Primer is that it combines two useful makeup preparation goals: helping foundation adhere to the skin and creating a visibly smoother finish.

If you prefer a matte, refined base, it offers a different approach from a hydrating primer designed primarily to create a fresh, dewy glow.

If hydration is your main concern, you may prefer SHEGLAM Good Grip Hydrating Primer or explore another listing for SHEGLAM Good Grip Hydrating Primer. These are alternatives to consider if you prefer a more hydration focused makeup base.

How to Use

Start with clean skin and apply your regular moisturizer. Allow it to settle before makeup.
Take a small amount of primer and spread a thin layer over the face.
Concentrate on areas where pores, uneven texture or excess shine are more noticeable.
Give the primer a short moment to settle before applying foundation.
Apply foundation gently rather than rubbing aggressively over the primed skin.
Finish with setting powder where needed, particularly around the T zone.

Expert tip: Start with a small amount. Applying too much primer or layering several incompatible products can cause pilling and uneven foundation application.
