Detailed Product Overview

The formula starts with glycerin, a well known humectant that helps attract and retain moisture on the skin’s surface. It is followed by ingredients such as cetearyl alcohol, grape seed oil and shea butter, which contribute to the cream’s moisturising and smoothing feel.

The formula also contains sweet almond oil and macadamia seed oil, giving the hand cream a nourishing character without making it specifically a heavy hand balm. Dimethicone is included as well, which helps create a smoother skin feel. The formula contains marshmallow root extract and mulberry leaf extract, alongside vitamin E derivatives and tocopherol.

For fragrance lovers, this is not an unscented hand cream. The Original Pink scent has a rose and bergamot profile, so the fragrance is noticeable as part of the hand care experience.

Texture, Finish and Real Life Experience

Hand Food is described as a non greasy hydrating hand cream, making it practical for everyday use rather than something reserved only for overnight hand treatments. It is particularly useful when your hands feel dry after washing, household chores or repeated sanitising.

In Bangladesh’s warm and humid weather, you may prefer applying a smaller amount during the daytime and using more whenever your hands feel particularly dry. Because the product is fragranced, people who specifically prefer fragrance free hand care may want to choose a different formula.

It is designed to moisturise and soften the hands, but it should not be considered a treatment for damaged or irritated skin. The product information specifically advises against using it on irritated or broken skin.

Who Is It For?

Soap & Glory Hand Food can be a good fit for:

Normal, dry or combination hand skin
Hands that frequently feel rough or tight
People who wash their hands frequently
Anyone looking for an everyday moisturising hand cream
Those who enjoy scented hand care products

If your hands are currently irritated, broken or very reactive to fragranced products, this may not be the most suitable choice. The formula contains fragrance and several listed fragrance components, including limonene, linalool, geraniol and benzyl salicylate.

Why Customers Choose This Product

One practical reason to choose Hand Food is that it combines everyday moisturisation with the recognisable Soap & Glory Original Pink scent. The formula has several emollient and moisturising ingredients rather than relying on a single conditioning ingredient, while the 125ml size makes it suitable for regular use at home or in a handbag.

It is also a straightforward option if your main goal is softer, smoother hands rather than a specialised hand treatment.

How To Use

Apply a small amount of Hand Food to clean hands.
Massage it over the palms, backs of the hands and around the fingers.
Pay extra attention to areas that feel particularly dry.
Reapply whenever your hands need additional moisture.
Avoid contact with the eyes. If contact occurs, rinse with clean water.

The brand recommends using it as often as desired for dry or rough hands.

Practical tip: Apply it after hand washing while your skin still feels slightly comfortable and not completely dry. For daytime use in humid weather, start with a small amount and add more only where needed.
