SOME BY MI Yuja Niacin Anti Blemish Serum

If your main skincare concerns are dark spots, post blemish marks, uneven skin tone and dehydration, the SOME BY MI Yuja Niacin Anti Blemish Serum is formulated around brightening and moisture support. The serum combines Yuja extract with 10% Niacinamide, along with ingredients such as glutathione, arbutin and vitamin C derivatives. The formula is designed to support a brighter, more even looking complexion while providing hydration.

SOME BY MI identifies Yuja, also known as Korean citron, as a key ingredient in this range. The product information states that the serum contains over 82% Yuja extract, while the current ingredient listing identifies Niacinamide at 10%.

Detailed Product Overview

The formula combines several brightening focused ingredients rather than relying on a single active. Niacinamide 10% is one of the prominent ingredients, while Yuja extract provides the botanical base of the formula.

The ingredient list also includes 3 O Ethyl Ascorbic Acid and Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, which are vitamin C derivatives, as well as Arbutin, Glutathione and Licorice Root Extract. Panthenol, Glycerin and other humectant or conditioning ingredients contribute to the serum’s moisture focused profile.

This makes the serum particularly relevant for someone looking to address the appearance of post acne marks, sun related pigmentation and uneven tone while keeping hydration in the routine. It should be viewed as a brightening skincare serum rather than an instant spot remover. Results from pigmentation focused skincare generally depend on consistent use and the underlying cause of the pigmentation.

Texture, Finish and Real Life Experience

The product is listed with a gel like consistency, so it fits naturally into a lightweight serum step after toner.

For Bangladesh’s hot and humid weather, a serum texture can be easier to layer than a rich cream, especially when your routine already includes moisturizer and sunscreen. The product also contains Citrus Junos Peel Oil and fragrance related components such as Limonene and Linalool in the listed formula, so those who are sensitive to fragranced skincare may want to consider the full ingredient list before purchasing.

Who Is It For?

Ideal for:

Normal to dry skin
Blemish prone skin
Uneven looking skin tone
Post blemish marks
Visible dark spots
Skin that needs additional hydration alongside a brightening routine

It may be less suitable for someone who prefers completely fragrance free skincare, as the listed formula contains citrus peel oil and fragrance allergens including Limonene and Linalool.

If your skin is already using several strong active ingredients, introducing a 10% Niacinamide serum alongside multiple brightening products may make the routine unnecessarily complicated. Keeping the rest of the routine simple can make it easier to understand how your skin responds.

Why Customers Choose This Product

The main appeal is its multi ingredient brightening approach. Instead of focusing only on Niacinamide, the serum combines Niacinamide with Yuja extract, arbutin, glutathione, vitamin C derivatives and botanical extracts.

It also provides a moisture focused component through ingredients such as glycerin, panthenol and other conditioning ingredients, making it more versatile than a purely exfoliating pigmentation product.

How To Use

Cleanse your face and apply toner.
Take an appropriate amount of serum.
Spread it evenly over the face.
Gently pat until absorbed.
Follow with moisturizer.
During the daytime, finish with sunscreen.

The product directions specifically recommend applying the serum after toner and then following with lotion or face cream.

Practical tip: If your main concern is post blemish marks, apply the serum consistently across the face rather than repeatedly layering a large amount only on individual spots.
