Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm is a moisturizing lip balm designed to give dry lips a softer, smoother and more comfortable feel while leaving a glossy finish. Its buttery texture makes it easy to wear throughout the day, and it can also be used as an overnight lip mask when your lips need extra hydration. The formula combines Shea and Murumuru Seed Butters with a plant based lipid complex to condition lips and add shine without a greasy feel.

The selected shades available here include Vanilla Beige, Brown Sugar, Cherry, Iced Coffee, Pink Guava and Vanilla, ranging from sheer beige and rosy brown to sheer red, cocoa, bright pink and a clear vanilla option. Summer Fridays describes the balm as vegan and cruelty free and suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.

Detailed Product Overview

The formula is built around a combination of Shea Butter and Murumuru Seed Butter, which Summer Fridays describes as moisturizing ingredients for conditioning dry lips. It also contains a plant based lipid complex made from vegan waxes to provide a smooth texture and shine. Sodium Hyaluronate is included in the ingredient list as well.

This is primarily a lip care product with a glossy tinted finish, rather than a full coverage lipstick. The shades are intentionally sheer, so the colour you see on the lips will depend on your natural lip pigmentation.

For someone in Bangladesh who wants comfortable everyday lip hydration without committing to a strong lipstick colour, this type of sheer balm can work particularly well for casual makeup, office looks and quick touch ups.

Texture, Finish and Real Life Experience

The texture is described by Summer Fridays as buttery hydration, with a smooth finish that boosts shine without feeling greasy.

Because the shades are sheer, they are easy to wear on their own or over a lip liner. On naturally pigmented lips, the final colour can appear softer and more subtle than the shade looks in the tube.

The balm can also be applied before bed as an overnight lip mask. During the day, it works as a simple combination of lip moisturizer and sheer glossy lip colour.

Shade Guide

Vanilla Beige: Sheer beige with a hint of vanilla flavour. A neutral option for a soft everyday lip.

Brown Sugar: Sheer rosy brown with a hint of brown sugar flavour. A good choice if you prefer a subtle brown toned lip.

Cherry: Sheer red with a hint of cherry flavour. Gives the most noticeably colourful look among these selected shades while remaining sheer.

Iced Coffee: Sheer cocoa with a hint of iced coffee flavour. Suitable for anyone who likes soft brown or cocoa toned lip looks.

Pink Guava: Sheer bright pink with a hint of sweet guava flavour. Gives a fresh pink tint while keeping the glossy balm effect.

Vanilla: A sheer vegan lip balm with a hint of vanilla flavour. It focuses more on hydration and shine than visible colour.

Who Is It For?

Ideal for:

Dry or dehydrated lips
Anyone who prefers sheer lip colour
People who like glossy rather than matte lip finishes
Minimal makeup and everyday looks
Anyone wanting a lip balm that can double as an overnight lip mask
People who prefer a comfortable alternative to opaque lipstick

If you want full coverage, long wearing colour or a completely matte finish, this is not designed for that purpose. The pigmentation is sheer and the main focus is hydration, softness and shine.

Why Customers Choose This Product
